Description
This is a 6 hour series for CE credit. We are covering the following:
Part 1 - Intro
Part 2 - The Brain
Part 3 - Symptoms
Part 4 - Effects
Part 5 - Treatment

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Identify what a stroke is
2. Determine if stroke is a medical emergency
3. Know risk factors, signs, and symptoms of stroke.
4. Have a basic understanding of the different areas of the brain
5. Understand the complications and effects of having a stroke
6. List the common types of treatment
7. Be armed with good caregiver tips to help them care for clients who have had a stroke.
